History, Mission and Values
Our Mission Statement
The Fondation Bon départ de Canadian Tire du Québec is dedicated to the development of children and adults living in vulnerable situations by offering respite stays and camps at its Base de plein air Bon départ. It also supports various community organizations in order to improve the quality of life of children and their families, notably by contributing to the development of healthy lifestyle habits and to their well-being.
Since 1990
In 1990, Canadian Tire Dealers decided to create their own foundation with the desire to give locally and help charities in their communities.

Mutual aid
Building on a long tradition of mutual aid dear to Québec’s Canadian Tire stores Dealers, since 1990, we have continued their commitment to less privileged families across Québec.

Through our Base de plein air Bon départ, we are committed to offering camps and respite stays for families experiencing difficulties.
